What Is Ultra

Ultra is a non-ablative laser that creates microscopic thermal zones in the skin, stimulating natural collagen production and promoting cellular renewal. The result? Brighter, more even-toned skin with improved texture and a noticeable glow.

This treatment is effective for all skin types and can be used on the:

LaseMD: What to Expect

Your Treatment Experience

Most patients describe the sensation as warm or tingling. A topical numbing cream may be applied for enhanced comfort.

Before Your Treatment Please Avoid:

  • Retinoids, acids, or exfoliants for at least 3–5 days prior.

  • Self-tanner or significant sun exposure for 1 week before treatment.

  • Waxing, threading, or depilatories on the treatment area for at least 5 days prior.

Aftercare & Recovery

  • Mild redness immediately after treatment

  • Skin may feel dry or have a “sandpaper” texture for 5–6 days

  • Makeup may be applied within a day or two as advised by your provider

  • Fresher, clearer skin is revealed as exfoliation completes
