FAQ

How do dermal fillers work?

Dermal fillers are injected into the skin where lines and wrinkles have formed to fill those areas and create a smoothing effect. They typically fall into two categories: those containing hyaluronic acid (HA) or calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA).

HA fillers add fullness and hydration by replenishing naturally diminishing HA levels as we age, also boosting collagen production for long-term results. CaHA fillers, biosynthetically produced, offer natural results with a lower risk of allergic reaction. They integrate into the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin for lasting effects.

When will I see results from fillers and how long do they last?
Results are immediate, natural, and subtle, lasting around 6-18 months depending on the filler type and individual body chemistry. Periodic injections maintain desired results.

Where can I get filler at ZenVita?

Filler treatments are available for various facial areas at ZenVita, including cheeks, oral commissures, submental crease, marionettes, peri-oral lines, and vertical lip lines.

How does Botox (Xeomin) work to smooth wrinkles?
Xeomin (IncobotulinumtoxinA) is injected into the skin where lines and wrinkles are present. It binds to nerve endings in the underlying muscle, temporarily halting contractions that cause skin creasing. This process reduces or eliminates frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, and other wrinkles, resulting in noticeably smoother skin for several months and masking your true age.
